THE JAMES BARNOR FOUNDATION
James Barnor has long wished to use his success to help others.
The James Barnor Foundation is a UK-registered charity that was set up by James in order to achieve various charitable aims that are close to his heart.
These aims include education and training, promoting and advocating for the preservation of African culture, and raising awareness of African cultural talent.
The first task of the James Barnor Foundation is to establish and award a photography prize which aims to promote established African photographic talent. In the long term, the intention is for the Foundation to continue to use James Barnor’s legacy to educate and train those in need, and to increase the visibility of African heritage and culture.
